Noun - Sangya
Noun - A noun is a
word used as the name of a person, place or thing. The word ‘thing’ means
anything which we can think of – countable, uncountable, visible, invisible,
touchable, untouchable, events, feelings, etc.
Sangya - Sangya vaha
shabd hai jo Vyakti, vastu, sthan, adi kay naam kay liye prayog hota hai.
‘Vastu’ shabd main – ginay janay walay, na ginay janay walay, dikhnay walay,
na-dikhnay walay, ghatnaay, bhavnaay adi sabhi shamil hai.
Example:
Computer, table, book, speaker, fan, car, gold, glass. (names of things)
Delhi, London, New York, school, college, garden, Akshardham (names of places)
Vartika, Kanika, Tom, Ashoka, doctor, girl, Princess, Queen (names of persons)
Dog, cat, lion, rabbit, horse, donkey, monkey, parraot, bird (names of animals, birds)

Common Noun -
Common Noun is a name given in common
to every non-specific thing, person, place, etc. Common nouns begin with small
letter. It begins with capital letter only if it is the first word of the
sentence.
Common Noun – Aam vyakti, vastu,
sthan common noun hai. English main iska pehla akshar chhota hota hai. Common
noun ka pehla akshar tabfi capital letter sey shuru hota hai jab vah Vakya ka
pahla shabd ho .
Examples : toy, pen,
room, garden man, girl, month, day, chair, school, boy, car, are common nouns
because each of these nouns refers to a common thing, place or person.
Proper Noun -
Proper Noun is a name given to a
specific thing, person, place etc. Proper noun always begin with a capital
letter.
Proper Noun - Khas vyakti, vastu,
sthan proper noun hai. Proper noun ko English main capital letter sey shuru
kartay hai.
Examples : Skoda Car,
April, Monday, London, Mahatma Gandhi, India, are proper nouns because each of
these nouns refers to a particular thing, place or person.
Yadi common noun ko khas banaya jai to vaha proper noun ban jata hai – Jaisay month common noun hai parantu yadi isay April ya September ka naam diya jaaye to yaha proper noun ban jata hai.
Collective Noun -
Nouns which denote a group of
persons, things, places, objects, concepts as one-whole are Collective Nouns.
Collective Noun – vyakti,
vastu, sthan aadi ka samooh jo ek naam sey jana jai vaha collective noun hai.
Examples : crowd, mob,
army, jury, family, parliament, committee. Each example denotes a group like
crowd denotes a collection of people – The police dispersed the crowd.
Abstracted Noun -
Abstract noun is usually the name of
a quality, action or state. You cannot see, hear or taste an abstract noun.
Abstract Noun – Vishesta,
sthiti ya kriya batanay wale shabd abstract noun hai. Isay aap dekh, sun, chakh
or soongh nahi saktay.
Examples : Goodness,
kindness, darkness, honesty, movement, judgement, laughter, youth, childhood,
death, poverty.
Countable Noun -
Countable nouns are the names of
object, people, thing that we can count.
Countable Noun – vyakti, vastu
or sthan jisay gina ja sakta hai, countable noun hai.
Examples: book, pen,
student, doctor, cat, woman.
Uncountable Noun -
Uncountable nouns are the names of
object, concept, thing which we cannot count.
Uncounable Noun – Aisee vastu ya sthiti
jisay gina na ja sakay, uncountable noun hai.
Examples: milk, sugar, honesty,
water, swimming, history, English, information.
