Preposition - Purvasarg 
Preposition is a word that indiacates relationship between noun or pronoun and the other words in sentence. e.g. in, on, at, to, with, under, above, into, by, of, etc Preposition is always used before a noun or pronoun. 
Preposition vaha shabd hai jo noun ya pronoun ka vakya kay dusray shabdo kay beech ka sambandh batata hai. Preposition hamesha noun ya pronoun sey pahlay aata hai. 

Use of Preposition 

On or Upon > = Kay upar - jab koi cheej touch karay
My book is on the table. My pen is also on the table
Meri pustak table par hai. Mera pen bhi table par hai.

Over > = Kay upar - jab koi cheej touch na karay
The fan is over my head. The clock is over Madhur's head.
Pankha meray seer kay upar hai. Ghadi Madhur kay seer kay upar hai.

In > = Main
We are sitting in the drawing room. Rajani is living in Mumbai.
Ham drawing room main baithay hai. Rajani Mumbai main rahti hai.

Into > = Main - jab koi cheej kisi main ghus jaaye
The boy jumped in the river. We entered in the cinema hall.
Ladkay pani main kood gaye. Hamnay cinema hall main pravesh kiya.

Within > = Kay andar
I shall finish this work within five days. Raman will come from Agra within five hours.
Main yaha kaam 5 din main khatma kar lunga. Raman Agra sey paanch ghantay main aa jayega.

Under > = kay neechay
My feet are under the table. The bag is lying under the chair.
Meray paon table kay nichay hai. Bag kursi kay nechay hai.

Of > = Ka, kay, kee
Prashant is brother of Shantur. He is a student of Birla School.
Ram Shantnu ka bhai hai. Vaha Birla school ka vidyarthee hai.

Off > = Sambandh vitchhaid ya rishto ka tutna
Switch off the light. Take off your clothes.
Bijli ka batan band karo. Apnay kapday utaro.

From > = Sey
Ankit has come from Delhi. India has taken loan from world bank.
Ankit Delhi sey aaya hai. India nay world bank sey loan liya hai.

For > = Kay liye
My heart is beating for you. I have brought a pencil for Viyaan.
Mera dil tumharay liye dhadak raha hai. Main Viyaan kay liye pencil laya hoon.

At > = Kay taraf
Why are you looking at me? He threw the ball at my side.
Tum meri taraf kyon dekh rahay ho? Usnay ball meri taraf phenki.

With > = Kay saath
I play with my friends. Avyan will go to school with us.
Main apnay dosto kay saath khelta hoon. Avyan hamaray saath school jayega.

By > = Kay dwara
This has been broken by Shyam. This letter has been written by Sarla.
Yaha Shyam kay dwara toda gaya hai. Yaha patra Sarla kay dwara likha gaya hai.

After > = Kay baad
Kanika will come from school after Vartika. Papa goes to office after Dadaji.
Kanika Vartka kay baad school sey aayegi. Papa Dadaji kay baad office jatay hai.
Against > = Kay virudh
Raj complains against Jay. India is playing against Pakistan.
Raj Jay kay virudh shikayat karta hai. India Pakistan kay khilaaf khel raha hai.
About > = Baray main
Tell me something about your city. Tell about your success.
Apnay shahar kay baray main kuchh batao. Apni safalta kay baray main batao.

We are going in a boat. Please keep everything in that box. Please do not go in lift for first floor. He has come in a taxi from Jaipur. The ticket is in my pocket. She is cooking in the kitchen. We bought first computer on 4th November. He has come on 27th September, 2012. We shall have holiday on the Independence day. All had come on my birthday. He is getting married on New Year's evening. We shall reach India on Saturday morning.
Hamnay pahla computer 4 november ko kharida tha. Vaha 27 September, 2012 ko aaya tha. Swatantrata Diwas par hamari chutti hogi. Merey janamdivas par sabhi aaye thay. Nayay saal ki shaam ko uski shaadi ho rahi hai. Hum shanivaar ki subah India pahunchengay.
